3rd EIL: day 5

Day 5 was spent for exposure and interaction in different centers for the poor and marginalized.  The delegates were divided into 5 groups and each group visited a center.

Then the delegates were treated to a sumptuous lunch at Manresa School as well as entertained by the elementary and high school choir who rendered many award winning choral pieces.

 

Then something spontaneous followed… (community singing of the performers and delegates)

The rest of the afternoon was spent for group sharing about their experiences in the center they visited.

Then everyone gathered at the Manresa field for a group photo.

 

Then it was time to go back to Manresa Retreat House for dinner.

Today was putting to life the famous words of Mother Candida, which is also the theme for the day: 

«Where there is no room for the poor, neither is there room for me.»
