April 27 is a significant day for the Hijas de Jesus Congregation as it celebrates the Feast Day of Blessed Antonia Bandrés, and prayed especially for the formandees of the Congregation who have her as their patron saint.
Last April 27, 2022, the formandees and perpetually professed sisters of formation houses of Asia Oriental and Indico-Pacific province of the Congregation gathered virtually to celebrate this day. They had a virtual prayer encounter at 5:00 pm (Philippine time). Different formandees from Vietnam, Bangladesh, and Philippines were joined together to praise God and share precious fraternal and formative moments. It was also participated by the Provincial Superior of the Indico-Pacific Province, Sr. Emelinda C. Falsis, F.I. and by the Mater Dei Community of the Philippines.
The formandees of Asia Oriental in the Philippines prepared an opening song. For their reflection, they also prayed and reflected on the letter of Blessed Antoñita which was used by the small groups for their sharing. They ended the prayer by singing and dancing together the hymn of Antoñita which also gave them a chance to show their talents.
