Dear sisters:
“… what we have seen and heard we proclaim now to you, so that you too may have fellowship with us; for our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. We are writing this so that our joy may be complete” (1 Jn 1, 3-4).
This is precisely what we have experienced and expressed unanimously at the conclusion of our PC. We are all very happy with the fraternal atmosphere of respect, listening, discernment and commitment to the task entrusted to us. We have felt that the Lord continues to encourage us to live this charism that He gave us through Candida María de Jesús.
Today we elected the members of the editorial team, Srs. Teresa Ramírez and María Fuencisla Sanz.
After sharing our evaluation permeated by thanksgiving, our Provincial Superior, with some words that gathered the grateful feeling of all, declared the Provincial Congregation closed.
After a time of rest, we closed the day with the Eucharist, thanking God for the grace received in these days; and we continue praying to live our life in discernment, always open to listening to the Spirit. We are committed to our prayer for the 18th General Congregation.
We want to let you know that we received the visit of the management team of Colegio Reina de la Paz, who, after the initial greeting, delighted us with some songs and gave us a beautiful institutional agenda since they are celebrating the 50th anniversary of the School.
We want to give special thanks to the Community of Reina de la Paz and the Colombia-Venezuela Region, as well as to the ladies and nurses who, with such dedication, take care of the sisters. We have witnessed the silent, joyful, gratuitous and dedicated service of all of them, an expression of the Gospel of Jesus.
