Thank you, Bea

Nov 4, 2024 | Communication, Featured, News

Today we talk to Beatriz Concejo, Bea. Vallisoletana, former student of La Salle, graduated in Advertising and Public Relations, great professional and better person. She began working with us through FASFI (Foundation for Solidarity Aid of the Daughters of Jesus) as the person in charge of Communication and Awareness and, later, she completed her work in international communication. Today she is ending her working relationship with the Congregation because she is now working full time for FASFI.

Bea, what have these years working in the international communication of the Daughters of Jesus meant to you?

These almost three years have been a period of great learning. I have taken a crash course in religious communication and a lot of questions. I have met people from all over the world, a world that I believe I have helped to connect a little more, and I have opened a new work door. I have been fortunate enough to work at a time of change and a push in communication and I am proud of the legacy I have left behind.

What do you value most and where could we improve?

Undoubtedly what I value most is the kindness and availability with which you have treated me. Improving is always positive, I think it is important to keep moving forward and adapting to today’s world without losing our values. In these years we have made a marathon at a communicative level that we have to continue walking taking the right steps. Sometimes it is good to take risks.

What has been your most beautiful experience?

My most beautiful experience was in Bolivia. There I saw the essence of the Daughters of Jesus, your charism and the dream of helping from the margins. I also have a beautiful memory of the ice cream we ate in Rome after hours of meetings and the interview with Kenia and Yomarys from the Peruvian Amazon, glued to the internet signal and full of vitality.

And finally, what will be your task in FASFI from now on?

From now on we will continue to “see” each other in FASFI, and I will remain on that side of the boat as the person in charge of Communication, Awareness and Volunteering. I will continue working to promote the most social part of the Congregation, to highlight the work of the Daughters of Jesus in the field, to generate social awareness and sow values of solidarity in schools. In addition to accompany the experiences of those who want to know you more closely through volunteering.

We are pleased with you for this step of work and life stability. We celebrate your commitment to FASFI and, as you remain “at home”, you can be sure that we will continue to meet.

Thank you for your responsible and well done work. We will miss you.
