For several days we had been preparing for this August 9. Phrases, videos, various communications that have helped us to live joyfully desires for encounters, wishing to share with other sisters.
We had the first encounter at 10:30 in the Eucharist. Quite a number of Daughters of Jesus began arriving, who are precisely with the family these days and take a break to live with the community of Málaga this feast so dear to us.
A simple but very touching Mass, songs, petitions, feelings of welcome and of celebrating together our dear Mother Foundress’ passing to the Father.
Afterwards … greetings, questions, the joy of meeting each other again.
Another meeting, lunch. At 2:00 p.m. we were in the dining room…, our Sr. Consuelo had set the atmosphere for us with some nice posters, something that helped keep our attention for a few minutes and “review the Constitutions”.
Small cards with significant numbers of the Constitutions were read slowly and spontaneously, bringing the message that St. Candida gives us once more as a gift today, and a deep desire to bring it to life.
A lively “sobremesa”. A little rest and again we are in the community room to reflect and pray with the proposed phrases in “vivirfi”… Updating these expressions.
Finally, we pray vespers at 6:30 p.m. We join all communities and each Daughter of Jesus in thanking God for so many blessings received.
