Graciela’s words in circular letter nº 21 to the Daughters of Jesus of the world:
On October 9 and 10, the Church began this process of preparation for the Synod on Synodality, to be held in 2023.
The current Synodal Process that we are carrying out is guided by a fundamental question: How is this “walking together” carried out today at the different levels (from the local to the universal), allowing the Church to proclaim the Gospel? and What steps does the Spirit invite us to take to grow as a synodal Church?
We know this, we are in the consultation phase. As a Congregation, we have the opportunity to offer the UISG/USG our contribution until the end of February, in a document that we will offer with contributions from all.
I invite you all to participate in parishes because it can be a very rich moment of ecclesial collaboration. Or in the organizations that the same parishes and dioceses are carrying out.
Pope Francis in his words to the diocese of Rome reaffirmed this call saying: “I have come here to encourage you to take this synodal process seriously and to tell you that the Holy Spirit needs us.” To take the synodal process seriously, this is what the Pope invites us to.
