Today, Saturday the 27th, we started the work in common at 11:30 a.m., and because it could not be otherwise, we remembered the 100 years of the death of Mª Antonia Bandrés. From Rome we accompany all the Hijas of Jesus who are starting their Formation and who try to live the Gospel from the charism of Mother Candida.
In the Assembly, the document on the report of the State of the Congregation for personal reflection was presented to us. In the afternoon we had a listening and sharing session to clarify doubts, and to reflect together on what was seen in the document. After an intense, deep session and listening to the Lord through what the sisters shared, we ended the day. And not only the day, but this first week of the General Congregation. When this was proclaimed, the Assembly erupted into applause.
At 7:00 p.m. we celebrated the Eucharist accompanied by Cristian Espinal, SJ of the Dominican Republic. In the Eucharist we remembered again the Hijas de Jesus who are at beginning their Formation, on the day of Mª Antonia Bandrés.
With a grateful heart we can say: “And God saw that everything was good”. And tomorrow…we take the day off… It is prohibited to work!
