On April 27 we celebrated two important days for the Mother Candida Family: Blessed Maria Antonia Bandrés Day and FASFI Day.
Because of her history of solidarity and social commitment, Antoñita is the inspiration and the reason for celebrating FASFI Day, as the Foundation has continued its work to help those most in need around the world for the past 20 years. She is also the patroness of the Daughters of Jesus in initial formation. Thus, both dates are closely related in their common goal of making a fairer and more united world.
Antoñita was a light in the darkness for those who needed her help the most. His dedication and love for others are an example to us all, and his legacy lives on to this day. She taught us that with small actions we can make big changes in the world.
Along the same lines, The Daughters of Jesus Solidarity Aid Foundation for two decades has been promoting projects in different countries, always in collaboration with the local community and working to improve the quality of life of the most vulnerable groups. Through education, women’s empowerment and child support projects, FASFI strives for to bring about positive change in the world.
But, we know that there is still much to be done and, in this sense, Antoñita’s legacy and FASFI’s work continue to be an inspiration and a call to action for all of us.
